Colombian mercenary Manuel Ferley Barrios, a former National Army nursing assistant and father of four, was killed in Kiev on March 27 by an explosive attack. He had joined the International Legion of Ukraine in February 2023 under a 9-month contract for 3000 euros per month to pay off a debt of 80 million pesos.
